In the RCI online directory, more information has been added to each entry. Due to space constraints, this additional information required our placing it in a smaller font size. If you’d like to view the information in a larger font size, please follow the directions below.
We hope this tip is helpful to you. Thank you for visiting RCI.com.
When blocks or symbols appear when entering your Login or user name, it may be related to your browser misinterpreting what you are entering. Our technical staff recommends using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Netscape 6.2.1. Netscape 7.0/7.01 does not seem to work well with RCI.com.
If you're having a problem, it may be related to the version of the web browser you're using. This promotion is best viewed on Windows 2000 or Windows XP with current versions of common browsers such as Internet Explorer 5.0 and up, Mozilla Firefox 1.0, or AOL 8+. You can download a free browser update from Microsoft.com.
RCI.com is best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer (versions 6.0 and above), the Firefox/Mozilla family of browsers, and Safari (Apple Mac). To experience all features of RCI.com, the Adobe Flash Player plug-in should be installed and enabled.
Firewalls or security programs cause various issues. The most common are the inability to access secure pages and/or having blank drop-down boxes when trying to search for vacations online. The obvious solution is to disable whatever security program is being used and try again. As every page in RCI.com is secure, this should pose no threat to your information while transacting business online through our site.
This usually occurs when trying to create a Login and Password. The problem is either due to the use of an unsupported browser or to trying to create a Login with a special character. Neither your login/username nor password can contain any symbols, including apostrophes (O'Neil for example). Also, both must be 6-15 letters and/or numbers.
If this is not the problem, you may need to adjust your browser settings or download a different browser version. The Weeks site is best viewed by Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Netscape 6.2.1. Netscape 7.0/7.01 does not seem to work well with RCI.com. For information about downloading a new browser at no cost, go to www.microsoft.com or http://wp.netscape.com/download/archive/client_archive62x.html. Java and cookies should be enabled on whatever browser you use.
The browser requirement is a bit different for Macintosh users than for other platforms. IE 5.0 Macintosh Edition is supported by RCI.com, even though the requirement is version 5.5 or higher for other platforms. Otherwise, Netscape 6.2.1 should work as well. Just go to go to www.microsoft.com or http://wp.netscape.com/download/archive/client_archive62x.html to download either at no cost.
If you experience difficulties with your online account, they may be related to your browser. Please review the checklist below for helpful information.

How to determine browser version
Browser Settings
You'll need to have the following settings:
For IE 6
RCI.com changes quite often. If you use a saved link or favorite, you can be directed to an outdated page if you use a saved favorite. This can cause issues when logging on or when doing a transaction online, depending on what page actually changed. Therefore, we encourage you to re-enter www.rci.com each time to avoid this problem.
Similarly, cache files can also direct you to outdated pages. When a cache file is created and that Internet page changes, a "bad rut" can be created that directs you to a bad page even though you re-entered www.rci.com. Therefore, we recommend that you periodically delete your cache files. To do so, try the following: -go to Tools -Internet Options -General tab -click on Delete Files from Temporary Internet files area
Security Programs
Firewalls or security programs cause various issues. The most common are the inability to access secure pages and having blank drop-down boxes. The obvious solution is to disable whatever security program is being used and try again. As every page in RCI.com is secure, this should pose no threat to your information while transacting business online through our site.
If you continue to have difficulties, please contact RCI via e-mail at feedback@rci.com or telephone. If you are a Weeks member, call 800/338-7777. Points members may call 877/968-7476.
This error is typically related to one of two issues—the use of a saved link/favorite or an unsupported browser. Our technical staff recommends re-entering www.rci.com each time versus using a saved link or favorite. Otherwise, you may be trying to access a page that has since been changed or no longer exists. For that same reason, it's a good idea to periodically delete your cache files as well. As for the browser, our technical staff recommends using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Netscape 6.2.1.
Generally, problems with entering credit card information are caused by not entering the details in the accepted format. The credit card number cannot include any spaces or dashes, and the expiration date must be listed in a mm/yyyy format (09/2007 for example).
Additionally, if you use Internet Explorer 6.0, it's important to check that your security setting "Use TLS 1.0" is selected. To enable that option, just open your browser and go to Tools, Internet Options, select the Advanced tab, scroll down to the security settings, and place a check next to Use TLS 1.0.
Occasionally, RCI.com experiences heavy traffic, which causes this error. This is a known issue that is currently being addressed. If you get this error, we encourage you to try again. Should you receive the error again, try hitting "refresh" and then "retry" on your browser.
Click on the "Deposit Your Week" tab. Select the week you wish to deposit and click on the "Deposit" button right beside it. Verify the information for the deposit is correct, select the acknowledgement that depositing your week is considered a final transaction. Click the "Continue" button to complete the transaction. If your week is floating, first enter your unit and week information and follow the same steps cited above.
Once you have accessed your account, click on the "Vacation Offers" tab and select the Extra Vacations or Last Call links on the top navigation bar. You can then enter a month and location for a Quick Search of general availability, or search more specific travel dates by ZIP code proximity, or even by price! And don't forget to check the Last Call section of our site for the best prices on last minute travel deals. The currency of the prices offered online for Extra Vacations is based on where you reside.

Step 1: Request a PIN.
You must request a PIN in order to create an account on RCI.com. The spelling of your name, your RCI Weeks ID number and your address must appear EXACTLY as it does in our system in order to receive a PIN. We recommend that you look at the spelling of your information as it appears on any mailing label from RCI. Each RCI Weeks subscribing member creates a separate account. Please be sure to use the PIN provided to the appropriate subscriber.

Step 2: Create Your Online Account
As a service to our members, RCI is now sending invitations to complete comment cards online via e-mail. Please click on the link included in the e-mail, complete the form and send it back to us. Your comments are very important to us as well as to your host resort. If the e-mail address we have on file for you is invalid, please ensure to update it as quickly as possible. If you did not receive your comment card, you may access a generic comment card online. Just go to www.rci-asia.com, and click on "Members Lounge" tab. Next, click on the "Comment Card" link found under "To Serve You Better" category.
To access your Points confirmation online, simply log into your account. Click on the "My Account" tab at the top of the page. On the next page, select the "Vacation Plans" box and click on "Confirmed". Scroll down to find the confirmation for which you are looking, then click on "Print Confirmation". This will print in a format which is acceptable for check-in at your resort.
Please note, Weeks vacations, Extra Vacations and Last Call will only be viewable online if they were confirmed online. For any vacations not listed online under "Vacation Plans," please contact a Holiday Guide to request a duplicate confirmation be mailed, faxed or e-mailed to you.
To access your Weeks confirmation online, simply log into your account. Click on the "My Account" tab at the top of the page. On the next page, select the "Vacation Plans" box and click on "Confirmed". Scroll down to find the confirmation for which you are looking, then click on "View Print Confirmation". This will print in a format which is acceptable for check-in at your resort.
Please note, Extra Vacations and Last Call will only be viewable online if they were confirmed online. Some Club members may not be able to view or print confirmations online. For any vacations not listed online under "Vacation Plans," please contact a Holiday Guide to request a duplicate confirmation be mailed, faxed or e-mailed to you.
To search for and confirm Extra Vacations Getaways and Last Call Vacations online, once you have logged into your account, click on the "Vacation Offers" tab. Then, choose either "Extra Vacations Getaways" or "Last Call Vacations". You may search availability by List or Map.
To search availability with your deposited week, please select the "Exchange Your Week" tab. Select the week you wish to use for the search. If you have more than three deposits, you may click the "View Additional Deposits" link to view all of them. Not sure which deposit to use? Please click on the red plus sign next to any of the deposits. The specific deposit information pertaining to this week will now be displayed.
With the deposit selected, the first page of the Enhanced Search shows you every available unit within the booking window. The number of units listed corresponds to the same number listed after each deposit on the previous page. A new feature for the Enhanced Search is that you may search availability using one deposit, and then easily switch to another deposit later on if you wish.
You may start to narrow your search by selecting filters on the left-hand side of the page. The manner in which the results are displayed is also an option. You may select the map version or list version by clicking on the corresponding tab. If very specific information is required, you may enter that at the bottom of the page. Any of the selected filters may be removed by clicking on the red "x" on the results page.
If the desired resort or dates are not available, you have the option to initiate an ongoing search. To do this, scroll to the right side of the page and click on the link, "Enter an Ongoing Search.” You will then be directed to verify the search parameters and to complete credit card information for the exchange fee. Each exchange fee is refundable if a vacation is not confirmed or if you need to stop the search for any reason. Please note you will not be given the option to start a request if your check-in dates are less than 30 days away.
It is important to keep in mind when RCI receives a SPACEBANK deposit, we first try to match it to a request already in the computer. Consequently, space may be limited in an initial search. The ongoing computer search remains the most effective means by which to confirm an exchange for a popular location/travel date.
The "Invalid PIN" message is generally related to entering a wrong RCI Weeks ID number or your browser. Please verify your 9-digit RCI ID number. The first 4 digits are usually the same as your home resort or vacation club. If you are referring to your mailing label for Endless Vacation magazine, just use the first 9 digits of the 10-digit number listed next to your expiration date.
If you are entering the correct ID # the problem may be related to your browser. Members who have reported this issue are typically using Internet Explorer 6.0. An adjustment of your security settings may be necessary to access the secure pages within our site. The steps to make the adjustment are as follows:
The most common cause of this is entering a Username (Login) or Password that differs from what was created. However, other issues may also exist, which include the following:
Using a different case than was used to create the Username and Password. If your Username or Password was created in upper case it needs to be entered in upper case or a mismatch will occur.
If your Username is the same as the beginning of your e-mail address, your system may be populating your full e-mail address in the Username field. Just go to the end of your Username and hit delete several times to ensure the rest of your e-mail address is not listed as well.
Recently taken vacations remain in the Vacation Plans section for 90-180 days after check-in. After the 90-180 day period, the vacation will then be found in the Vacation History section instead.
Once you access your RCI Points® account online, just go to the My Account tab and click on Update Account.

Once you have logged into your account online, just go to the My Account tab and click on Update Account. Scroll down to the Change Your Password section and follow the steps.
You must request a PIN in order to Create an Account on RCI.com. The spelling of your name, your RCI Weeks ID number, your phone number and zip/post code must appear EXACTLY as it does in our system in order to receive a PIN. On the Weeks web site, each member creates a separate account consisting of a username (login) and password. If you forgot or need to verify your username, enter your Weeks ID number and first name.
On the Points web site, everyone on the account is registered using one username and password. If you forget or need to verify your username, enter your Points ID number and the first name listed on the Points account.
If you receive an error message "The information you entered does not match our records", the problem could be any of the following:
To retrieve your password, you will need to enter your username and answer the secret question you submitted when you first establised your online account. When you answer it correctly, your password will be mailed to the e-mail address registered on your account. If you have forgotten the answer to your secret/security question, please contact Customer Service at feedback@rci.com.
If you forgot or need to verify your password, enter your login(username) and answer the secret question you created when setting up your account. Once you answer the secret question, your password will be sent to you by e-mail.
RCI has over 3 million members worldwide, many of whom have already created new RCI Weeks online accounts. Because the Weeks site requires a unique login/username (not a member ID #), someone else has already used the one you submitted. If your desired username is one you commonly use, you may want to add a number or letter to make it easy to remember.
Your online RCI Weeks account will display all of your regular RCI Weeks exchanges. Extra Vacations or Last Call vacations will be listed as well if they were initiated and confirmed online.
To view vacations confirmed up to two years in the past just click on the My Account tab. Then select Vacations History. You may select Vacation Plans to display deposits used for searches and upcoming vacations as well as those which have recently passed.
Options are listed just above the box with your personal data. Click on "Vacation Plans". Any standard exchange vacations you have confirmed will appear under the heading "You have the following Exchange(s) Confirmed". Also, any Extra Vacations or Last Call vacations you confirm online will appear under the same section, under the heading of "You have the following Extra Vacation(s) Confirmed".
On the "My Account" tab, options are listed as links across the menu line of the tab. Click on "Update Account". You will then have the options to change your Password, e-mail address, and personalized greeting.
RCI's Vacation Guides are available from 9am to 7pm Singapore Time (Monday through Friday), and from 9am to 1pm (Saturdays).

The option to renew is located under the "My Account" tab. Scroll to find the membership package you wish to purchase and click on "Renew." From there, enter your payment information and click on "Continue." Click on this button only once. If you are unsure whether your renewal was processed, simply click on "renew your subscribing membership" at the top of the page to check the date your subscription is paid through.
For security reasons, only members of RCI's staff can update address and telephone information. Please either send us an email at asiamembers@rci.com or call our Holiday Guide. Please remember to also contact your home resort to advise them of these changes.
Although some resorts assign their owners the same unit and week each year, they may still list vacation ownerships as floating time to accommodate the needs of all owners at the property. If you receive the same unit and week each year, but your unit is listed as floating, just enter the appropriate information when going through the deposit process online.
Because members at times wish to give their RCI vacation benefits to family and friends, RCI implemented a Guest Certificate program. The Guest Certificate ensures that guests will not experience difficulty upon arrival at a host resort.
The person listed on the Guest Certificate must be at least 21 years of age. You may add a Guest Certificate any time up to the check-in day.
To add a Guest Certificate, simply log in as you did before and click on "My Account" then select "Vacation Plans" or "Extra Vacation Plans" (if you are a Points member) and go to "Confirmations". Scroll down to your confirmation and click on "Create/Modify RCI Guest Certificate". Please note that, according to RCI's Terms and Conditions, Guest Certificates cannot be sold or used for commercial purposes. Guests must also be at least 21 years old (some resorts require guests to be older). For more information, please contact a Vacation Guide.
Each deposit is available for exchange 12 months prior to its start date through twenty-four months after the start date. The check-in date of the confirmed vacation using a deposit must fall within this timeframe. RCI has developed a program that allows members with SPACEBANK deposits about to expire to extend their usage. However since this program is not supported online, please call our Holiday Guides to purchase an extension.
Some resorts use non-inventory deposits that represent vacation time. These deposits may be in lieu of resort points or credits. Since these deposits do not feature a particular resort, unit or vacation week, they are not accessible online. Please call RCI's staff instead to take advantage of any such weeks you may have in your account.
If your deposited weeks are already being used for ongoing requests, you will need to select the "My Account" tab and go to the "Vacation Plans" section to see the request.
Also, if you participate in a points or credits type program within your resort and/or its group, a non-inventory type of deposit is probably used, which requires our staff to assist you via telephone instead.
The vacation time listed online as available to be deposited is determined by the weeks listed on your ownership screen. It is possible that no ownership was listed when your account was established. Please call or e-mail our staff if you feel this may be the case.
Another possibility is that your resort deposits vacation weeks for its owners. Also, if you participate in a points or credits type program within your resort and/or its group, a non-inventory type of deposit is probably used, which requires our staff to assist you via telephone instead.
RCI provides general information about affiliated resorts as the affiliates have provided it to us. Resort information can be changed without notice to RCI. There may be fees, deposits, pet weight limits, and other resort or country of visitation guidelines. Before making plans to take your pet to any resort, including those listed below, please contact the resort directly. If you are traveling abroad, please check the laws of the country your are visiting regarding bringing in animals from another country. For more information about traveling with your pet, you may also go to www.petswelcome.com or http://www.dogfriendly.com.

In the RCI Points® program, "Home Week" is the term used to describe the 366 to 396 day (approximately 12-13 month) in advance timeframe when Points members who own fixed weeks can confirm their "home week".
RCI Points members who own floating time will see the message "You don't have a Home Week". Floating time owners can make "Home Resort" reservations 335 to 365 days (approximately 11-12 months) in advance, "Home Group" reservations 304 to 334 days (approximately 10-11 months) in advance, and standard Points reservations 303 days (approximately 10 months) or less in advance. RCI Weeks reservations may be made 3 days to 24 months in advance.
Any change to your confirmed travel dates constitutes cancellation of your exchange and is subject to our standard cancellation guidelines. When cancellation is made 61 days or more prior to your confirmed travel dates, S$100 of your original exchange fee is retained by RCI. Should cancellation be requested 60 days or fewer prior to travel, no portion of your exchange fee is refundable. However, in either case, your deposited week will be eligible for a new exchange.
Vacations cannot be cancelled online. If you need to cancel a confirmed exchange, please call a Holiday Guide for assistance.
If you did not receive an almost immediate response to your PIN request, it would mean that some piece of information you entered did not match our database exactly. The most common problem is submitting two names rather than just one, adding a middle initial to the first name field, or not including "Jr", "II", etc. to the last name. If you are unsure how your name is listed on your RCI membership, please check a mailing label from RCI or your RCI ID card or call our Member Services Department so that our staff can verify this for you.
If your information has been verified but you still do not receive the PIN, the problem may be an issue related to the use of an e-mail filter or "spam blocker". For some reason, many filters recognize the PIN e-mail as a 'junk e-mail' and, therefore, simply delete the message or forward it to a "Bulk" or "Junk mail" folder. If you feel this may be a possibility, please check your deleted messages or your Bulk or Junk mail folder for your PIN. Otherwise, please relax your settings and try again.
RCI Points® is a points-based program that offers subscribing participants the flexibility of using points for shorter vacations, as well as travel-related products, including airfare, cruises, car rental, and hotel reservations. Many vacation clubs may also offer a points or credits based program but participate in the RCI Weeks program instead, not RCI Points sm.
