The RCI Exchange System

Request An Exchange

Once you have deposited your Week and decided where and when you would like to holiday, your next step is to request an exchange.

How

You can request your exchange by calling RCI Member Services on (65) 6223 4333.

When

You can request for an exchange

  • As early as 2 years before the intended check-in date or
  • As late as 2 days before the intended check-in date

What You Need

For easy processing of your request, please have this information on hand when you call us:

  • Your RCI Membership number
  • 4 to 6 resort choices (refer to your ‘RCI Directory of Resorts’ for choices)
  • Your desired travel dates
  • Type of preferred holiday activities (e.g. golf, fishing etc)
  • The number of people in your travel party
  • Your credit card details

As a rule of thumb, your request will be fulfilled more quickly if you have a variety of resorts in mind when you make your request.

What Happens

Once a request is entered into our system, the system will automatically reserve a unit for you once a match is found. The appropriate exchange fee is chargeable only upon a match. In the event you cancel your request before the exchange is confirmed to you, the fee paid will be credited back to your account for your next exchange. Alternatively, the money can be credited back to your credit card account.

Once a match is found, RCI can confirm your request immediately. If a match is not immediately available, you may ask your RCI Guide to:

  • Enter a computerized search for your desired resort and travel dates (you will be notified once a match is made); or
  • Offer you alternative resorts in the area of alternative travel dates where space is available
