In light of the closure of Boracay last year, it is important that we as travellers are mindful of our natural environment as we travel and explore the wonders of nature.

One of the great positives to come out of the Philippine Government’s decision to close Boracay Island to tourists earlier last year is its complete rejuvenation as a tourist destination.

During the time the Boracay closure was in effect, Astoria Vacation and Leisure Club Inc did their part for the island by investing in reinvigoration and refurbishing of its resorts.

Both Astoria Boracay and Astoria Current have reopened and are now welcoming visitors to the island. With this, RCI believes that Astoria is well-prepared to lead the charge in the promotion of sustainable tourism practices on Boracay.

“Pristine white sand, crystal clear water plus the removal of all illegal structures along the beachfront makes it a place where one can truly relax and enjoy their time here.” - In an interview with Ricardo Valenzuela, the Project Director for Astoria Hotels and Resorts.
